Ersen and I wanted to drop a line to the both of you, a year later, and say thank you both for being so professional, loving and caring about our wedding ceremony!
We celebrated our 1st anniversary last weekend and are still hearing compliments from friends and family about how beautiful and personalized our wedding was...you two definitely were a big part of that! Having our wedding out of state it made it hard to find a pastor/officiant.We wanted to have a meaningful ceremony that incorporated our faith and our family. We were enrolled in pre-marital counseling but most churches we contacted wanted us to participate in their own program or they couldn't help us at all. We thought about looking online but we waited in hopes something might come along. We were a little concerned about "booking" a pastor off a website and not actually meeting him.
We found Reverend Mike through the Can-a-lope website and were so excited when he personally contacted us back and also made the extra effort to speak to our pastor to discuss what we had been working on in his counseling. Our Pastor was very happy to say he thought Mike was a great find! Reverend Mike put together a beautiful ceremony that everyone loved and still talks about. He helped us incorporate our sand ceremony idea into the great ceremony he had laid out. We met he and his wife Daryl the night before the wedding and were so happy! They made us feel immediately comfortable. We knew we had made the right choice. The the day of when it rained and we had to rearrange the wedding site Daryl came out to the car to fill me in on the changes I was relieved she was there.
Reverend Mike and Daryl made our wedding day so special. They took the time to get to know us. They kept open contact and continue to today. They understand that sometimes you might not have access to a pastor or you might not be planning a "traditional" wedding, but that doesn't mean you don't want a faith based wedding.

Our wedding was perfect. As an interfaith couple, we wanted a ceremony that would incorporate both. Fortunately we found Pastor Mike ,who along with his wife, came up with the perfect words for our ceremony. It wasn't very long butit wasn't very short either. The ceremony had all aspects of a "traditional" wedding but also allowed our personalities to shine through. Alan and I both felt very comfortable through the whole thing and I even managed not to cry!

Above and beyond! My lovely bride was "unavoidably detained", and Rev. Mike waited patiently on the beach with us in 94 degree heat (worth the wait, BTW). His counsel, both before the wedding and since has been invaluable.

Rev. Mike is someone I have known a long time. He is my former pastor, baptized me, dedicated my daughter to the Lord (and soon to be two more babies!) and married me to the love of my life. He is extremely professional, organized and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants their wedding day to be officiated by someone who cares. His wife Daryl was also of great help in getting our party organized. She is a real gem of a woman! Their family is an extension of my own and you simply cannot go wrong with having them in your life in every capacity possible! WONDERFUL 10 STAR EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! You will not be sorry!

Rev. Dr. Mike was the priest at my wedding and it was great. Very professional and thorough throughout the whole process and helped my wife and I with any questions we had. Also made a nice booklet for us as well. Overall it was a great experience.
